Course Overview

Well-attended CPD and training sessions are full of a staggering amount of precious time – often everyone in the room has been released from ‘their day job’ to: · find out more, · be inspired and motivated · create and innovate ideas to make changes · build relationships and communities with other teachers and schools to challenge and consider similarities and differences between schools. This means that the role of the Teacher Educator is critical in making efficient and effective use of this time to inspire, motivate and challenge delegates to be lifelong learners while sharing knowledge, skills and understanding and signposting delegates to further resources that may be useful. We recognise that it is critical we adhere to the DFE’s CPD standards in all our training and ensure our trainers share proven pedagogies as well as successful strategies. Through this course, we support you to ensure the expertise you share is anchored in the evidence base for it and share ways to enhance and develop the learning of adults.
