Course Overview

Every teacher has the ability to be outstanding. The first few years of a teaching career are the most crucial in terms of skills development. Our ‘Inspired NQTs: Inspiring Children’ programme is tailored to NQTs and will inspire them to develop their skills and strategies to enjoy teaching effectively. This one-year programme develops the Newly Qualified Teachers teaching skills and reflection as well as building important networks and communities for other NQTS which supports their resilience to the challenges of the classroom.

sessions 5 & 6 of 12 Wednesday 22nd January 2020 9.30am – 4.00pm Curriculum pedagogy:  Application in maths am and Application in English pm

session 7 of 12 Wednesday 11th March 2020 1.30pm – 4.00pm Personalised learning:  Differentiation, deployment, planning and pitch

sessions 8 & 9 of 12 Friday 27th March 2020 9.15am – 3.30pm Evidence Based Teaching Conference: Using evidence-based practice in your classroom NQTs will be joined by MK ITT trainees, students and teachers awarded QTS by us over the last 3 years at this inspiring and thoughtprovoking conference.
