This series of courses will explore and develop the delegates understanding of Quality First Teaching through developing their knowledge and skills in: Formative assessment; effective feedback including in the moment planning and live feedback; closing gaps; questioning; metacognition; using talk; the role of retrieval practice; the role of modelling; meeting the needs of all pupils; effective use of summative assessment; classroom management, expectations and behaviour.
Delegates should attend all courses which are considered as a whole sequence with progression built into them to support the progress of the teachers.
